Tablets of Sumer is a reading app for ancient Mesopotamian texts. We collect the minimum data needed to give you an account, remember what you've read, and let you download tablets for offline reading.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and (optionally) a display name and avatar URL, supplied when you sign in.
- Reading activity: which tablets you've opened, your progress through them, and which tablets you've marked as followed.
- Entitlements: if you purchase a premium feature in the future, we store the SKU you own and when it expires.
- Offline cache: tablet text and any associated audio you choose to save are stored only in your browser (IndexedDB). We never see them.
What we don't collect
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't run third-party advertising trackers.
- We don't track your location.
- We don't read your contacts, photos, or files.
Who processes your data
Account, progress, and entitlement data are stored in our managed backend (Lovable Cloud, which runs on Supabase). When you sign in with Google, Google processes your sign-in.
Deleting your data
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from your settings page. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. To clear your offline cache, remove the saved tablets from your library or clear the site's browser storage.
Children
This app is rated for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
